Parkside Recognized by The Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis as a Top Place for Women to Work

The Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis (WFSTL) has announced the results of its ninth annual Women in the Workplace: Employment Scorecard, recognizing 11 St. Louis-area employers that are leading the way in creating workplaces where women can succeed, advance, and thrive.

The Scorecard is the region's only gender-focused workplace assessment designed to recognize, educate, and encourage employers to create environments that support women's economic opportunity through leadership advancement, equitable compensation, workplace flexibility, and recruitment and retention.

This year, WFSTL is recognizing employers that demonstrated excellence in four key areas of workplace gender equity: leadership, compensation, flexible work policies, and recruitment and retention.

"Today's honorees are demonstrating that investing in women is not only the right thing to do, it is good for business and good for our community," said Kristy Bourgeois, President of the Board of Directors of The Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis. "The Scorecard recognizes employers that are taking meaningful steps to recruit, retain, support, and advance women. Their leadership helps create workplaces where women can thrive and contributes to a stronger and more prosperous region for everyone."

As employers across the country compete for talent, workplace policies that support women are increasingly important to attracting and retaining a strong workforce. The Scorecard highlights organizations that are demonstrating measurable outcomes while creating environments that help employees balance work, family responsibilities, professional growth, and long-term economic success.

The Scorecard recognizes employers that demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing women through measurable outcomes, equitable workplace practices, and policies that support recruitment, retention, advancement, and workplace flexibility. Participating organizations must demonstrate results including women in a minimum of 25 percent of top leadership roles, a minimum of 25 percent of women among the organization's most highly compensated employees, a

starting wage above Missouri's minimum wage, and family-friendly policies that support workplace success and advancement.

Employers are evaluated through a blind review process based on objective data, workplace policies, and measurable outcomes related to workplace gender equity.
