Parkside Invests in Growth

October 2020
INVESTING IN GROWTH
Amid the uncertainty and turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, Parkside wanted to ensure we had the capacity to serve existing clients who may require extra attention during these challenging times, while also continuing to add new relationships with those who may not be receiving the attention they deserve from their current financial providers. Therefore, as we shared in the St. Louis Business Journal article available here, we committed to accelerating our late 2020 and 2021 hiring goals.

“With many talented individuals out of work, or re-evaluating career opportunities, we viewed this as an opportunity to invest in our growth,” says Parkside CEO Jim Wagner.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Parkside is proud to have welcomed nine talented team members. Their support and expertise will be well-utilized, helping our clients with their financial needs. We invite you to get to know each of them below.

Micki joins our team with more than 16 years of diverse bank operations experience, including specific expertise with ACH, cash management, exception processing and data rationalization.

A Successful Summer Internship Program

Parkside is excited to have successfully hosted four talented interns for a combination virtual and in-person 10-week Summer Internship Program. We understand the importance of a valuable internship experience during critical skill-building college years and were proud to uphold our commitment to these students. Though our program functioned differently than anyone expected, we are grateful for the contributions they made to the Trust, Family Office, Commercial Banking, Human Resources and Marketing departments. Learn more about their experience through the 2020 Internship Blog available below, and stay tuned for additional information about our 2021 program.
