Eric Peterson
Biography
Eric offers nearly 20 years of middle market banking experience. After attending both the Southeast Technical Institute and Dakota State University in his home state of South Dakota, he began his career as a Commercial Loan Officer at a local community bank. Following a move to Colorado in 2006, he joined a regional bank, serving small and middle market businesses across the front range. In 2013, he transferred to an international bank where he was responsible for portfolio growth in the emerging markets division. In 2020, Eric returned to his community banking roots, joining Parkside to focus on creating uncommon client relationships in the Rocky Mountain region.
An avid outdoorsman, Eric enjoys mountaineering, skiing, hiking, camping and biking. His portfolio includes summiting Aconcagua, South America’s highest peak, and skiing Mt. McKinley, North America’s highest peak. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and is active with the Denver Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Denver Partnerships, Friends of CAIC Development Committee, First Descents and World Trade Center Denver.
