As the leader of our marketing department, Alex Schenk spearheads its development, engagement, and growth. She is responsible for constructing and directing a fully integrated marketing and communication strategy that revolves around the internal and external Parkside brand.
She oversees marketing and event planning strategies, assets, and metrics to support departmental business and marketing objectives, aligning with the broader organizational strategy and market dynamics. Furthermore, Alex collaborates closely with Department Leads and Relationship Managers to strategize unique customer experiences and events, ensuring personalized and memorable interactions.
In her role at Parkside, Alex's responsibilities include leading, engaging, developing, and inspiring our expanding marketing department and team. She initiates the implementation of cutting-edge tools, streamlined processes, and effective procedures to maximize the impact of our marketing efforts, both internally and externally. Alex continuously evaluates our existing marketing, brand, and events strategies and channels. She recommends and executes enhancements to procedures, materials, strategy, and overall efficiency, ensuring that our brand continues to be innovative and pertinent.
In addition, she represents the Marketing function in internal committees and initiatives, showcasing our vibrant culture, community involvement, and unwavering commitment to employee engagement.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from the Kelley School of Business, along with a Minor in Studio Art, specializing in Photography & Graphic Design/Illustration Concentration from Indiana University – Bloomington. Prior to joining our team at Parkside, Alex served as the Head of Marketing for a professional services firm.
